The view of the mountains will often be restricted by clouds and fog, and there may be light snowfall at times. In the afternoon, the clouds may break up in the western mountain ranges.

A low-pressure system over the Gulf of Genoa will bringing very humid air masses to the Alps, causing increasingly unstable conditions.
In some mountain ranges, snowfall is likely already in the early hours of the morning. In the morning, the snowfall will spread to all mountain ranges and subsequently become heavier. A total of between 20 and 40 cm of snow is expected.

Monday will start off mostly cloudy. In the morning, clouds and fog will clear up and the sun will gradually come out. Tuesday will see a mixture of sun and clouds. Wednesday will be very cloudy with widespread rain and snowfall. The snow line is expected to be between 500 and 900 m. Thursday variable cloudy with a some sunny spells.
